This week we will begin working on our Recycled Fabric Weavings. If you have scrap fabric, plastic bags, rope, beads, ribbon, or anything else that can be woven, please bring those to class to include in your weavings.

What will you bring?! Our 2nd option for our next project is to create a Koi Fish! Step-by-Step directions for this can be found on my desk.

Today, Mrs. Denison will explain one option for our final project: Op Art Line Design.
7th grade has begun creating wonderful geometric watercolor designs inspired by the work of Sonia Delaunay, Russian artist by way of France, who co-founded the Orphism movement whose artists used strong colors and geometric shapes.
The first assignment that students are working on is to create a design for their portfolio covers. They will design their name and draw it in one point perspective to make it appear as if it is flying out at you from the page!
