We are coming to the end of our time together, so we need to discuss final due dates. Please see the schedule below like we discussed in class:

ALL ARTWORK SHOULD BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15TH (hard deadline) This week, students will begin assembling the inside of the Altoid tin. They need to include the following:
Be sure to add dimensional elements by popping out these items to add depth!! Today we finished our backgrounds for our Altoid Shrine. Students were to choose from the following options to add for the background of their Altoid tin:
A. Newpaper collage w/ watercolor on top B. Tissue Paper Collage C. Scrap Paper Collage D. Tempera Paint (If you choose tempera paint, you will probably need to get it sealed with gloss spray.) Students are going to begin creating a shrine assemblage from a recycled Altoid tin. They will think of an inspirational quote, song, or poem to use as their theme. They will need to include text from their poem, quote, or song and have a central focal point in the assemblage.
Today, students are creating their altered book 2-page spread on the principle of design: Movement! Please check out the video to see a demo of the steps and check out the finished piece below.
