Kudos to LMMS Artists!!!

Hello Lost Mountain!

I am pleased to announce that we have TWO students whose art work will represent the STATE OF GEORGIA during youth art month. Emma Martinez and Sarah Margate both have artwork chosen to be on the Georgia Flag on display at the NAEA convention in New York! Only 8 students in all of Georgia were chosen!!

LMMS work is in the upper right and lower left.

Sketchbooks and Erasers needed by Today!!

Remember, students need to have a large eraser and a sketchbook by TODAY. Sketchbooks should be 8.5x11 or 9x12. Students can make or buy sketchbooks, or get one through the school. Please let Mrs. Denison know if you are having problems getting a sketchbook; contact me at julie.denison@cobbk12.org

Makers of the Mask Art Show--Tonight!!

30 of our 6th grade students from last quarter will be featured in a collaborative art show at the Big Shanty Art Station. This show is called "Makers of the Mask!" This show is all ages and features work made from Harrison High School students along with all its feeder schools. There will be many different interpretations of Mask artwork at the show. We hope you can check it out!
