All semester long we have been working on our altered book pages. These will count as 2 major project grades at the end of the semester, so here is a brief checklist for students to be sure they are on track.

Students turned in 2 point perspective projects today. Students who were not done will need to take it home to complete for homework.
Students will shade their perspective projects using a light source using white pencil on black paper.
Students will work on a rough draft using one point perspective. They will need to have at least 7 boxes with at least 2 spots of overlapping. Once they draw their boxes, they will add, windows, doors, niches, etc. They may also embellish the boxes with pipes, ladders, winding sidewalks, etc.
8th grade VA COMP is working on a two point perspective drawing, creating cool, science-fiction landscapes.
